Sarah Farella is an interior designer at ALMA.  Sarah joined ALMA after graduating with her Master's Degree in Interior Architecture from Jefferson University in East Falls.  She is passionate about creating accessible and equitable spaces for all users. At ALMA, Sarah works on higher education and residential projects.  Sarah is involved in graphic presentation, space planning, FF&E selection, construction detailing, and construction administration.  Her projects at ALMA include Gummeson Grounds and the Farinon Student Center Renovations.

 

Sarah is a board member of the Interior Design Legislative Coalition of Pennsylvania She also serves as an alumni committee member of CABE’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee at Jefferson University.

 

Sarah's graduate thesis, a performing arts center for a Deaf theater company, explored DeafSpace, an architectural approach that works to create a rich multi-sensory environment for Deaf and hearing users. In addition to design, Sarah keeps busy with community theater and outdoor activities.
