Teresa Cortes is a senior architectural designer and project manager involved in higher education and residential projects. Her expertise is in new construction as well as in heavy rehabilitation and covers all phases of the projects. Teresa loves architecture and the role it plays in everyday life, including how it can be an expression of civic and personal values. She is currently working with ALMA on the design, coordination and delivery of the Renovation and Addition to Kunkel Hall, a higher education project in Pennsylvania.

Teresa earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Madrid Polytechnic University in 2008. After graduating, she moved to Paris where she lived for ten years and had the opportunity to work within top European firms such as Atelier Christian de Portzamparc and Valode & Pistre. During this time, she worked within diverse project scales – from small residential homes to new mixed-use neighborhoods, corporate headquarters and campuses, large structural facilities (exhibition grounds, a stadium, universities and hospitals), as well as hotels, both in France and internationally.

She moved to Philadelphia in 2019 and joined ALMA architecture where she has already started establishing, developing and implementing design technology workflows within and beyond Revit, as well as project management.
