HART'S PUB

Hospitality  /   Easton, PA   /   Proposal

Hart's Pub. is nestled between the base of a prominent hill and a creek.  The brick structure was once occupied by the Chemical Publishing Company, owned and operated by Engineer, Chemist, and Professor, Evan Hart. The design of Hart's Pub. references the Hart's professional and academic accomplishments in chemistry and printing.

Focal Point

In the center of Hart's Pub. is a prominent bar that wraps around the historic brick building core. A grid of open shelving was designed above the bar to provide a more intimate scale. The grid unifies storage, display, menus, and signage.
