Ian Sauls is an integral part of the talented design team at ALMA architecture.  He has assisted in the conceptualization of nearly every project in the studio, with greater roles in Span, Meadow Brook, Markle Hall, and Auction House.  Tasked with a variety of responsibilities, Ian successfully supports the team from preliminary design through construction documentation as well as marketing strategies and materials.

Graduating from Tyler School of Art in 2014, Ian’s architectural thesis examines the relationship time has with architecture and how economic/political waves can alter an environment.  Now as a professional he is again addressing these topics due to Philadelphia’s ever fluctuating palette of styles and expectations.

Spontaneous and ever curious, Ian indulges in the habit of “doing things the hard way.”  From wandering the city streets to exploring the great outdoors with Tyler, Ian is never low on inspiration.
